Mandated Objectives/Goals

1. Act as the recognized provincial representative for the Ukrainian Canadian community before the people and Government of Saskatchewan;
2. Strengthen and co-ordinate the participation of Saskatchewan Ukrainians in the province's civic, social and cultural life through the delivery of programs and services;
3. Support its members through good governance, effective communication and active engagement with its stakeholders;
4. Assist and promote efforts by UCC Saskatchewan Branches to serve as focal points of the Ukrainian community in their regions;
5. Bring awareness to the history of the Ukrainian people and support the preservation and development of Saskatchewan's Ukrainian cultural identity;
6. Contribute to Saskatchewan's diversity by fully participating in the community and cultural sectors of the province;
7. Lend support to the Ukrainian Canadian Congress (National) towards its goals; and
8. Promote the development of friendly and mutually beneficial relations between Saskatchewan and Ukraine.

Values

UCC Saskatchewan actively works to demonstrate our values of:

1. Collaboration - we respect the contributions of volunteers with organizations and communities and seek to connect, support and promote those efforts where possible;
2. Respect - we celebrate the achievements of Saskatchewan Ukrainians and honour their legacies; we actively promote multiculturalism, intercultural ism and diversity;
3. Accountability - we are responsible to our members and stakeholders by being transparent, consultative and responsive; and
4. Leadership - we strive to evolve our Ukrainian Canadian identity, in a sustainable manner, by being innovative and inclusive to today's society.
