The Kyiv Pavilion is looking for volunteers during Mosaic once again this year.

As a volunteer, you receive admission to the Kyiv Pavilion, a meal voucher and a drink voucher.

An opportunity for high school and college students to improve their Ukrainian language skills while living in the largest Ukrainian-speaking city in the world, Lviv.

The School of Ukrainian Language and Culture at the Ukrainian Catholic University is hosting the 11th Annual Summer Program, a unique combination of Ukrainian language classes and a rich cultural immersion program.

Students may still enroll in either of the two remaining sessions, which may be audited or taken for university credit (3 weeks - 6 ECTS Credits = equivalent to 3 Credits in North American colleges).

Lviv In-service Teacher Training Institute organizes Annual Summer School of Ukrainian Language and Culture for Ukrainian teachers from abroad in July.

The course is designed for Ukrainian teachers who need to have language practice, to want to become more effective in the classroom.

To commemorate the 200th Anniversary of Taras Shevchenko's birth date on March 9, 2014, and to assist in promoting our namesake's significant contribution to our culture and heritage, the Foundation will give special consideration to grant applications which highlight and celebrate Taras Shevchenko's works. In particular, priority will be given to unique projects which increase the engagement of the Ukrainian-Canadian community and the public at large. Please visit their website for more details.

The Culture on the Go: Touring and Market Development program, a partnership between the Arts Board and the Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport, will help make it possible for Saskatchewan artists to further their careers and share their art, music or performances with people in our province and beyond.

The SaskFestivals grant program supports Saskatchewan festivals to encourage community engagement, tourism and economic activity; enhance the positive impact of festivals in the community; provide high-quality experiences for audiences, artists, participants and volunteers; and heighten appreciation of the arts and artists in Saskatchewan.

Travel grants assist practicing artists and individuals working in the arts to attend events or to take part in activities occurring out of Saskatchewan that provide for discussion or presentation of their work, that present a unique opportunity to enhance their careers, or are of benefit to the arts in Saskatchewan.

Communities can apply for up to $500 through Activity Assistance to support sport, culture, & recreation opportunities such as a physical activity initiative, cultural program or a sport clinic. The purpose of the assistance is to help remove barriers to participation and assist organizations and groups to provide affordable sport, culture and recreation opportunities. Application deadlines are the 1st of each month with the exception of March. No retroactive funding -- apply prior to the deadline.

The Worobetz Foundation is a private foundation that purchases administration support and guidance from the Saskatoon Community Foundation, a public foundation.

DoSomething.org is a website that helps engage young people and even offers funding to help young people mobilize their ideas. Currently Canadians under the age of 25 are eligible to apply for up to $500 of funding through the Do Something Seed Grant. This grant is given away weekly and there is no application deadline.
