Study English at UCC Saskatoon this Fall
August 5, 2010 -- Stage 1 English classes are more
than just the opportunity to learn a new language. Students also participate
in activities that help them with their settlement needs. They study
practical topics such as health, banking, employment, shopping, leisure
activities for families and transportation. English is taught in-class
as well as out in the community.
UCC-SB offers classes mornings,
evenings and weekends in the Lawson Heights and Silverwood areas
of Saskatoon.
Classes are free and childminding services are provided.
Temporary residents, international students and their families
as well as permanent residents who are unable to attend other English
classes are eligible for Stage 1 English.
Fall registration starts on August 26th, 2010. Bring proof of Canadian
status (for example work permit) and language assessment card, if
you have one.
