Guest Performers from Ukraine Featured at Yevshan 50th Anniversary Celebration

September 8, 2010 -- Yevshan is pleased to announce that Zaporizhia Kozak Song and Dance Ensemble from Zaprorizihia, Ukraine will be our featured guest performers at our 50th Anniversary Gala Concert and Banquet November 12 & 13 at TCU Place.

The ensemble was created in late 1993 as an initiative of the Zaporizhia Regional State Administration. The primary purpose of the ensemble is the promotion of cultural heritage, traditions and historical events of the Zaporizhia region.

Yevshan has been working closely with the ensemble, whose orchestra will accompany our dancers at the concert, in creating and orchestrating 15 new and original pieces to be featured at the gala performance.
