As part of the Symposium on Emerging Trends in Immigration, Naeem ‘Nick’ Noorani, founder/publisher of the Canadian Immigrant magazine and author of the bestseller Arrival Survival Canada, a practical guide for newcomers to Canada, will be offering a seminar for Saskatoon newcomers.

Nick’s presentation, entitled the "Seven Success Secrets for Canadian Immigrants", outlines how immigrants can achieve success in a new country. The message is one of positive thinking, embracing Canada as your new home, and creating opportunities through risk-taking and community participation. Nick’s frank and humorous presentation draws on his own immigrant journey, as well as the success stories of the many newcomers he has met along the way.

Nick is a well-known immigrant advocate and CBC radio host who is passionate about his work. His "Seven Success Secrets for Canadian Immigrants" presentation is one of his most popular seminars and has even been made into a DVD.
