Only 10 days remain before the Grand Prize draws in the Ukrainian Canadian Congress - Saskatchewan Provincial Council 'Live Free for a Year Lottery II'.

We asked last year's winner, what it's like to Live Free for a Year.

"I feel a lot freer. You don't have to worry about as many finances when you get an extra $1,000 a week, tax-free. The benefits of winning will carry on much longer than the one year. I was on a five-year financial plan before the lottery. Now I managed to pay off most of my debts in one year.

Deadlines fast approaching
The deadline for credit card orders is 6.00 PM, Saturday, August 26th. Cash, cheque and money order purchases can only be made up to 6.00 PM Friday, August 25th at the UCC-SPC, #980-606 Spadina Crescent East (Avord Tower) in Saskatoon.

All Proceeds Go Back into the Community
Net proceeds from the 'Live Free for a Year Lottery II' will go to UCC-SPC's Community Development Fund. Since its inception, the fund has distributed more than $100,000 to many of Saskatchewan Ukrainian dance groups, choirs, educational programs, youth camps, seniors programs, cultural and historical initiatives and other community organizations that contribute to our province's dynamic cultural life.
