Live Free for a Year Lottery IV Final Draw Winners

June 26, 2008 (UCC-SPC Inform) -- The Ukrainian Canadian Congress - Saskatchewan Provincial Council is pleased to announce that Stan Kaban of Foam Lake (ticket #0893) has won the Grand Prize of $1,000 a week for 52 weeks in the Live Free for a Year Lottery IV Final Draws made today. Congratulations to Stan!    The winner of the Second Prize Draw for $5,000 in cash is Emily Bohach of Saskatoon (ticket #0665).    UCC-SPC thanks the hundreds of people from almost 145 communities in Saskatchewan and 17 municipalities beyond for supporting the lottery by purchasing a ticket.    All proceeds go to support the many dance groups, language and education programs, summer camps, seniors programs, cultural and historical initiatives and other activities that contribute to our province's dynamic Ukrainian cultural life. Live Free for a Year Lottery IV Rules of Play

All tickets purchased by the draw deadlines are eligible to win every prize. Only 3000 tickets will be available for purchase. Only tickets that have been paid for, and have been verified as paid, are eligible to be entered for the respective draws. A Previous Purchaser Draw will be held on Thursday 15 May 2008 for $2,000 cash. Only those who had purchased a ticket in the 2007 Live Free for a Year III Lottery and have bought a 2008 Live Free for a Year Lottery IV ticket by the draw deadeline are eligible. The Previous Purchaser ticket sales deadline is Monday 12 May 2008. An Early Bird Prize draw will be held on Thursday 12 June 2008. The Early Bird prize is $3,000 cash. All tickets purchased by the Early Bird ticket deadline of Monday 09 June 2008 are eligible for the Early Bird draw. The Grand Prize and Second Prize draws will take place on Thursday 26 June 2008. The Grand Prize is $1,000 per week for 52 weeks for a total of $52,000 or *Winner may choose a one-time payment of $49,000. The Second Prize is $5,000 cash. The ticket sales deadline is Monday 23 June 2008. If all tickets are sold by the Early Bird sales deadline, then all prize draws will take place on 12 June 2008. Prizes consist of cash and are paid in the amounts and manner stated. Winners will receive official notification in writing. A complete list of winners will be published in the Regina Leader-Post and the Saskatoon StarPhoenix and on-line at www.ucc.sk.ca the week following the Grand Prize draws. Official tickets will be issued upon receipt of either an official ticket order form or a confirmed telephone entry, and payment. Purchasers must be at least 18 years of age. Lottery is intended for Saskatchewan residents. Prizes will be awarded in the name(s) on the official ticket order form.
