UCC-SPC President participates at Regina German Days

September 12, 2006 -- Congratulations are offered to the organizers of REGINA GERMAN DAYS, Regina’s German-Canadian Society “Harmonie” and the Saskatchewan German Council Inc.

On Saturday morning, September 9th under a beautiful sun the German Days were officially opened with numerous speeches of congratulations in front of Regina’s City Hall, and at the appropriate moment the German flag was raised to fly in the light breeze. The festivities continued in the evening at a formal Awards Banquet at the “Harmonie” Club.

The celebration on Sunday, September 10 centred around an Open House at the Club facilities on St. John Street.

UCC-SPC President, Eugene Krenosky was an invited guest at the festivities, and on behalf of the Saskatchewan Ukrainian community, extends a warm note of appreciation and congratulation to the Regina and Saskatchewan German community.
