Let's Celebrate Christmas: Ukrainian Traditions in Our Home

December 14, 2006 -- The October 23rd e-Bulletin and the Fall Visnyk announced UCC-SPC’s first Christmas card contest inviting Ukrainian youth 18 years and under to submit a drawing or painting based on the theme Let's celebrate Christmas: Ukrainian Traditions in Our Home. Submissions were recognized for creativity and representation of the theme.

Congratulations go to Jeremy Ball of Saskatoon, whose artwork (pictured above) was selected to be represented on UCC-SPC's 2006 Christmas cards! Jeremy visited the UCC-SPC office with family this week to receive his prize package worth $150!

The drawing is also represented on the cover of the Winter 2006 issue of Visnyk, albeit in black and white; smaller versions of the other submissions are also reproduced inside. Visnyk may be viewed here (in PDF).
