New practice time for Regina Ukrainian Folk Choir

Choir practice nights are now on Sunday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:00pm

The Regina Ukrainian Folk Choir is looking for new choir members. The Choir will be commencing weekly Sunday evening choir practices starting this Sunday, January 21st at 7:30pm to 9:00pm at Selo Gardens, 1110 McNiven Avenue.

The Choir is sponsored by the Ukrainian Canadian Professional & Business Association of Regina, a non-profit organization of Ukrainian Canadians whose goals include the preservation and enhancement of Ukrainian culture in the community.

The Choir includes members from within all groups that comprise Regina’s organized Ukrainian community as well as those whose only connection to the Ukrainian community is through the Choir. We welcome persons of all ages, backgrounds and religions.

Although our singing is in Ukrainian, many members of our choir cannot read or speak Ukrainian and every effort is made to make it easy for them to pronounce the words correctly as they sing.
