Immigration Settlement: Changes at UCC-SPC

Serhij
Koroliuk
Nadya Neshcheretna
July 2, 2010 -- UCC-SPC is pleased to announce that Serhij Koroliuk and Nadya Neshcheretna are now Immigrant Settlement Advisors. Nadya's contract as Immigration Services Coordinator with UCC Saskatoon ended last month on June 30th.

Their primary role is to welcome newcomers and help them develop the personal tools and resources needed for success in Saskatchewan.

Settlement Advisors work in close cooperation with Immigration Gateways -- offices established by the Immigration Services Division of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Employment and Labour -- to serve newcomers from a broad range of linguistic, ethnocultural and spiritual backgrounds.

Immigration Gateways exist in 11 service areas across the province and serve as a first point of contact and access to services for newcomers. Serhij and Nadya will serve all of Saskatchewan except for the Regina service area, which continues to be served by UCC Regina.
