The guest speaker will be Morris Bodnar

Morris P. Bodnar was born in 1948 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and grew up in the village of Prud’homme. Morris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics in 1969 and a Bachelor of Law in 1972, both from the University of Saskatchewan. He articled with the Makaroff, Sherstobitoff, Hrabinsky & Stromberg law firm and was called to the Saskatchewan bar in 1973 and the Alberta bar in 1988. Morris has been in private practices since 1973, primarily in criminal law, and was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1986. Morris has been a lecturer in Criminal Law at the Bar Admission Course for the University of Saskatchewan, Federation of Law Societies of Canada, National Criminal Law Conference, the Legal Education Society of Alberta at the University of Calgary, and the Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop.
