Join Ridna Shkola for Ukrainian language, culture, history, traditions, crafts and a lot of fun activities!

What is Ridna Shkola

• Established by Ukrainian National Federation in April 2009
  • Focus is school aged children and youth
• Objective of revitalizing and helping restore the delivery of Ukrainian language and cultural education.
• UNF Regina was one of the initial Ridna Shkola schools
• Ridna Shkola was originally set up for the teaching of Ukrainian language and history
  • Expanded to include cultural activities
• Currently delivered at 8 UNF locations across Canada
• The expense costs of Ridna Shkola classes are subsidized by UNF Regina.
  • Revenue from the student fees only covers about half the costs of operating the school
